Joanne Joseph

Dr Joanne Joseph is the Head of the Haemostasis and Thrombosis Laboratory within the Haematology AMR Research Program at St Vincent’s Centre for Applied Medical Research.

Bio

Dr Joanne Joseph is the Head of the Haemostasis and Thrombosis Laboratory within the Haematology AMR Research Program at St Vincent’s Centre for Applied Medical Research. She is a Clinical and Laboratory Haematologist with over 25 years of experience, who first introduced platelet flow cytometry into the Haematology Research Lab in 2000. Dr Joseph has diversified the type of research undertaken. She co-founded the Sydney Platelet Group that has expanded its service across NSW and secured a Translational Research Grant from the NSW Government. Dr Joseph is also the Head of the Division of Laboratory Haematology, SydPath, St Vincent’s Hospital, an Examiner for RCPA Haematology Exams and a Conjoint Senior Lecturer for St Vincent’s Clinical School, UNSW Sydney. Dr Joseph has over 90 publications.
