Bio
Professor Reginald V Lord is a Sydney upper gastrointestinal and general surgeon, who leads the Gastro-oesophageal Research Program at St Vincent’s Centre for Applied Medical Research.
Prof. Lord received his undergraduate degree from the University of Sydney, a postgraduate research degree from UNSW, and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. He trained in general surgery at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney. Following this, he spent more than five years at the University of Southern California in the Foregut Surgery Department and led a gene therapy laboratory.
Prof. Lord is Head of Surgery at The University of Notre Dame Australia School of Medicine.
