About Clinical Trials

At St Vincent’s Hospital, we pride ourselves on patient-centred care and making the option of clinical trials available to all patients that are interested. Our Clinical Trials are at the forefront of medical innovation.

Clinical trials play a crucial role in advancing medical knowledge and exploring new interventions for patients by:

  • Providing early access to cutting-edge treatments that may not necessarily be available through standard care
  • Translating new knowledge into improved clinical practice and outcomes
  • Contributing to global medical advancements
  • Enabling closer collaboration between researchers, clinicians and healthcare professionals

We run all clinical trials in compliance with the International Council for Harmonisation Good Clinical Practice standard as well as our local regulatory and ethical guidelines, to ensure the rights, safety and wellbeing of our patients are protected at all times.
